It also formulates treatment plans that will prevent further complications for wounds, compression therapy as well as screens for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).

The Lower Leg Assessment Clinic nurse will work with the patients’ family physician to develop a treatment plan to prevent further complications.

  • Lower leg edema
  • Acute or chronic wound care
  • AADL stocking and footwear authorization

A primary care provider referral is required for any of the Lower Leg Assessment appointments.
